Gray Street Workshop partner Catherine Truman solo exhibition some uncertain facts is opening at Gallery Funaki in Melbourne tomorrow. Myself and most of the Gray Street ladies are also heading over, which I’m looking forward to as I have not yet been to a opening at this gallery.
We held a preview for this exhibition at Gray Street workshop a couple of weeks ago and had a great turn out of people eager to see this wonderful show. Since moving into Gray Street, it has been an absolute treat to watch this body of work develop plus through conversations with Catherine, gain an insight into her practice.
While in Melbourne we are also going to visit North City4 for lunch and a chat. Because of what I’ve seen and read online, I am super keen to check out this space in person, plus it will be interesting to see what comes out of discussions between these two group workshops, and what we might learn from each other.
